Ornamental Hawthorn Crimson Cloud
A garden form of the Midlands hawthorn, Crataegus laevigata Crimson Cloud is a small, thorny, deciduous tree with glossy, lobed leaves. Showy clusters of small, deep pink flowers with a white eye appear in late spring, covering the branches. These are followed in early autumn by small, bright red haws, which persist until late autumn. Very hardy. This ornamental hawthorn can also be used as hedging.
